Hebden Bridge's Single File Traffic are quickly establishing themselves as one of the best new live acts in the UK. A series of ongoing gigs around the North West has lead to them playing throughout the Calder Valley and Manchester at venues such as the Trades Club, Golden Lion and Cafe Blah.
With their chaotic and improvisation heavy live performances, jazz fusion centred, yet genreless sound they call 'Post' and lyricism indebted to Robert Burns, Forough Farrokhzad, and Laura Nyro. Single File Traffic are a band who consistently prove almost impossible to predict.
The Hebden Bridge, England, five-piece was formed in Autumn of 2020, during lockdown, by front man, lyricist and guitarist Frankie Montgomery, multi instrumentalist Ewan Smith and synthesist Tash Gardner whilst attending Burnley College. The band quickly evolved around the additions of lead guitarist Dan Arnold and Ollie Pickens on drums.
